I don’t know about you, but I have no idea what’s going to happen.
I’m almost to the point where her in our “Meta” world, it’s almost homework whereas hanging out with Rick and Sally in Paris is pure playtime. I’m impatient with our meta story because I just want to get back to our “real” story. Ha! I can’t believe I just wrote that.
OK, serious. I’ll be serious.
But I am serious! I just want to read what happens with Sally. I’m really starting to like her. I like how they’re so different and not afraid to show it.
Present day realities: OK, that’s all fun and games, but what were you saying about actually reading romance? No, not really here either. I read 50 Shades of Gray because it was such a hit and I just wanted to see what the fuss was about. Yeah, first half of first book was fun, but they it was rather repetitive.
Harlequin publisher? I have no idea, Lone. But we do have to come out from under our rocks and share this with the world. But where and how? I’m sure there are people out there who would like to read about Rick and Sally and their adventures in Paris. Hey, maybe even someone would be interested in our meta story of us writing the book together. At least it’s a different take on it.
Maybe I need to not toss the Meta story out the window so quickly. In a way, it’s almost like a breather, a break, an intermission between the romantic tension between Rick and Sally.
Oh, speaking of Rick and Sally, I’m getting way too used to their names! Rick I can live with because it’s a very American name and even reminds me of Casablanca. But Sally? For a Danish girl? I don’t know, maybe she has non-Danish parents? Parents with a sense of humor? Dunno where to go with this.
See, I’m trying to be serious. 😉
I think it’s not a bad idea at all to “run this by” some people. I know one thing: if we show it to no one, no one will care. If we show it to someone, at least there’s the chance.
Now, let’s see where Sally takes Rick. Birthplace of creativity was it? The library at the Sorbonne? An artist’s gallery? Maybe Sally knows something that I don’t? Well, that’s for sure.
